EP Group is an award winning, global packaging manufacturer with production facilities across Europe and South East Asia.
Our global headquarters in Birmingham is home to our dedicated paper manufacturing division providing a wide range of food packaging products for the likes of McDonalds, Amazon, Marks & Spencer and Greggs.
We are now seeking a Senior Warehouse Operative for the night shift to be based on site here in Birmingham. The role will be responsible for carrying out all warehouse functions as required to agreed standards. The Senior Warehouse Operative will focus on the support of both the Goods In and Replenishment Team from a “hands on” and “administrative” perspective to ensure the provision of a professional, timely and accurate Inbound and Replenishment process.

Sunday 7pm - 3am
Monday - Wednesday 10pm - 6am
Thursday 10pm - 5.30am
Key Responsibilities – Night Shift Senior Warehouse Operative
Directly organise the nightly operational team.
Planning, co-ordination and administrate the Intake & Replenishment of goods, in a timely and efficient manner to achieve your team objectives in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as determined by the Warehouse General Manager.
Ensure the receipt and the replenishment of goods is conducted correctly and accurately and errors/non- conformance are tracked, actioned and eradicated.
Champion the training & development and health, safety & welfare of the nights team.
Exemplary hygiene standards are maintained across the warehouse.
Working closely with the Stock Integrity team to ensure accuracy of stock.
Be responsible for ensuring that the quality of the product and service within the Warehouse is maintained at the highest possible standards for the customer.
Ensure quality procedures and team quality targets are strictly adhered to.
Ensure the various processes, procedures and general duties which are laid out for the area are followed and your charges take ownership and comply with all related company processes and procedures.
Supporting the management team in improving all matters relating to HSE, BRC and Ethical Audits.
Alongside the warehouse management team, conduct all aspects of HR related tasks; Return to works, probationary/performance reviews etc.
Conduct accident and near miss investigations, obtaining statements and photographic evidence where necessary and alongside the warehouse management team generating action plans as appropriate within agreed timescales.
Report all stock damages, investigate and identify root causes to reduce or eliminate repeat incidences.
Carry out any reasonable requests as required, to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business.
