EP Group – Shunter Driver - PM Shift

EP Group is an award winning, global packaging manufacturer with production facilities across Europe and South East Asia.

Our global headquarters in Birmingham is home to our dedicated paper manufacturing division providing a wide range of food packaging products for the likes of McDonalds, Amazon, Marks & Spencer and Greggs.

We are now seeking a Shunter Driver for afternoons, to be based on site here in Birmingham.

Hours

  • Monday to Thursday - 2pm – 12am

  • Friday - 2pm - 9pm

Key Responsibilities – Shunter Driver

  • Internal shunter - moving trailers and rigids onto bays for loading

  • Liaising with Warehouse, Manufacturing and Transport

  • The shunter will be required to go out on the road between different sites

  • On rare occasions or peak periods, you may be required to do deliveries

Key Requirements – Shunter Driver

  • Class 1 license

  • Shunting experience is desirable

  • Ensuring the trucks and rigids are left organised before end of shift

  • Handover to the morning shunter

  • Adhering to all Health and Safety protocols
